At The Contrast Theory, we are committed to delivering premium wellness products safely and efficiently. Because many of our products are large, heavy, and shipped via freight carriers, delivery procedures differ from standard parcel shipments.
Please review this Shipping Policy carefully before placing your order.
Order Processing
Most orders are processed within 2-4 business days after payment has been successfully received.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Once an order has been processed and submitted to the warehouse or manufacturer, it enters the fulfillment stage and cannot be modified without approval from The Contrast Theory.
Customers will receive a shipping confirmation once their order has been dispatched.
Shipping Timeframes
Most orders are delivered within 5 to 15 business days after shipment.
Delivery times may vary depending on:
- Product availability
- Manufacturing lead times
- Customer location
- Carrier schedules
- Seasonal demand
- Weather conditions
Products that are custom-built, made-to-order, or temporarily out of stock may require additional lead time.
If an extended lead time applies, it will be communicated before shipment whenever possible.
Free Shipping
The Contrast Theory provides free shipping within the contiguous United States on most products unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Free shipping applies only to standard delivery service.
Additional fees may apply for:
- Remote locations
- Islands
- Special handling requests
- Expedited shipping
- Inside delivery services
- White glove delivery services
Any additional charges will be communicated before shipment.
Freight Deliveries
Many saunas, cold plunges, ice baths, and chillers are shipped through professional freight carriers due to their size and weight.
For freight shipments, the carrier will typically contact the customer directly to schedule a delivery appointment.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The delivery address is accurate.
- The delivery location is accessible by freight truck.
- Someone is available to receive and inspect the shipment.
Failure to attend a scheduled delivery appointment may result in re-delivery fees imposed by the carrier.
Curbside Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, freight shipments are delivered using curbside delivery service.
Curbside delivery means the carrier will deliver the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest accessible location outside the property.
Drivers are not responsible for:
- Bringing products inside the home
- Moving products into garages
- Carrying products upstairs
- Assembly
- Installation
- Packaging removal
Customers should arrange assistance if needed due to the size and weight of the products.
Delivery Inspection
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
Before signing the delivery receipt, inspect the packaging and visible portions of the shipment for signs of damage.
If damage is present:

Note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt.

Take photographs of the packaging and product.

Contact The Contrast Theory within 48 hours of delivery.
Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may result in denial of the freight claim.
Missed Deliveries
If a delivery appointment is missed or a shipment is refused without cause, additional carrier fees may apply.
These fees may include:
- Storage charges
- Re-delivery fees
- Return freight charges
Any fees assessed by the carrier will be the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Address Changes
Shipping address changes must be requested before the order ships.
Once an order has been dispatched, address changes cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional carrier fees.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is accurate at the time of purchase.
International Shipping
At this time, The Contrast Theory ships only within the United States unless otherwise approved in writing.
Customers interested in international shipping should contact our team before placing an order.
International customers are responsible for all applicable:
- Duties
- Taxes
- Import fees
- Customs charges
- Regulatory compliance requirements
Shipping Delays
While we strive to meet estimated delivery timelines, shipping delays can occur due to circumstances outside our control.
These circumstances may include:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Carrier disruptions
- Supply chain interruptions
- Labor shortages
- Customs inspections
- Manufacturer delays
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
The Contrast Theory is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, manufacturers, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Lost Shipments
If your shipment appears lost in transit, please contact us immediately.
We will work directly with the carrier to investigate the shipment and determine the appropriate resolution.
Lost shipment investigations may require up to 10 business days before a claim can be finalized.
